Ralph is a retired Certified Public Accountant who spent his professional career of more than 39 years with Deloitte & Touche LLP (“Deloitte”), one of the largest international accounting and consultancy firms in the world. Ralph’s career at Deloitte included a number of local, regional and national leadership roles. He served as the Audit Practice leader and the Office Managing Partner for Deloitte’s Seattle office; the Regional Managing Partner for Deloitte’s Pacific Northwest Practice and as the Industry National Managing Partner, overseeing the Firm’s industry practices across the United States. Ralph also served as the Lead Client Service Partner and the signing audit partner on many of Deloitte’s most significant and complex Consumer Business and Retail Real Estate industry clients. He has also provided services as the Engagement Quality Review Partner on several of Deloitte’s major Consumer Business. He served as Deloitte’s senior relationship partner on many of the Firm’s most strategic Consumer Business client accounts across the United States. Ralph’s long career of service to some of Deloitte’s largest and most complex clients provide him an unusual depth of knowledge of consumer business and real estate industry specific matters and extensive experience with SEC accounting and reporting matters. In addition, his career in public accounting, which included serving several companies undertaking complex transactions and public and private offerings of securities with challenging accounting and reporting considerations has qualified him as a Financial Expert. His accounting and reporting experience is further enhanced by the understanding and appreciation of effective governance that he developed in serving in leadership roles of increasing significance within Deloitte, through his interactions with the Boards and Audit Committees of his client organizations and in the numerous not-for-profit board leadership positions he has held.
