Bob Abramowitz is the CEO and co-founder of Prism Worldwide, a technology company providing sustainable circular polymers derived from recycled materials.
Prior to Prism, he was CEO of Gold’s Pure Foods LLC and Westminster Cracker Company. Hired by LaSalle Capital in 2011 to restructure and turn-around the nearly 200-year-old cracker and snack manufacturer, Bob refinanced the company and led the redesign and rebranding of the corporate identity. He spearheaded the acquisition of Gold’s Pure Foods, Dr. Lucy’s, and Fox’s increasing the company’s manufacturing capabilities and sales. With a strong background in sales and marketing, Bob has successfully brokered many acquisitions and grown companies, averaging a career growth rate of $23M a year.
Before joining Westminster Cracker Company, Bob was the CEO and founder of Advanced H2O a leading private label bottle water for COSTCO’s Kirkland Signature Water, Safeway, Kroger and other leading US retailers. He engineered a management buyout and sale to HM Capital in Dec 2007 and Lasalle Capital in first quarter 2006. Under his leadership the Company grew to over 400 employees and five manufacturing plants with revenues exceeding $160M.
Prior to his work in the food and beverage industry, Bob held various positions over 20 years in the toy industry. His last position was as CEO of Five Rings Publishing Group where he acquired the TSR Hobbies Company (Dungeons & Dragons) and engineered the sale of both companies to Wizards of the Coast in 1998. Bob received a BS in Business from The Pennsylvania State University in 1979.
